The 1979 Corvette was one of the more popular models for women. They owned 15% of the 53,807 Corvettes produced that year. According to WIKIPEDIA.org, the sticker price was $10,220.00, with standard bucket seats, new open flow mufflers, and the roof panel and back window moldings were black instead of chrome.
The 1979 Corvette Factory Assembly Manual is full of diagrams and GM Part Numbers that were drawn up by Chevrolet engineers for the assembly line workers, but happen to work very well for the restorer today!!
